We created the Dominant Sports HQ calendar feature to be easy to use. The calendar items will auto populate the “Upcoming Events” section of the website and will automatically remove events that have passed. This is a great place to keep track of your games, meetings, parent events, etc. Since the calendar keeps track of everything and the “Upcoming Events” is a snapshot of future events, it is the best of both worlds.

Step-By-Step Directions:
1) Once logged into the admin panel click on “Event Calendar” (left column).
2) Click on Add Event under the “Event Calendar” menu or scroll down under the calendar to the Add Event form.

3) Complete all of the fields on the form
4) IMPORTANT – Please DO select the check box that says “Create Post For Event”.
5) IMPORTANT – Please select Published for the “Which Post Status” drop down.

6) Click on “Add Event”

Your event will show up in your calendar as well as in the “Upcoming Events” section of your website.
